In Memory: Timothy M. Duff
Timothy M. Duff, 67, of Kansas City, MO, passed away May 19, 2009, at the home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. A Royal Order of Jesters Rose Ceremony will follow the service. Graveside services will be in Zoar Cemetery in Cainsville, MO, at a later time. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ararat Shrine Hospital Transportation Fund, 5100 Ararat Drive, KC, MO 64129, and/or Sertoma Communicative Disorders Speech and Hearing 1912 E. Meyer Blvd., KC, MO 64132. Mr. Duff was born on April 2, 1942, in Cainsville, MO. He was a 1960 graduate of Princeton High School. He graduated from Penn Valley Community College and UMKC. Tim was the vice president and general manager of Nicholl Brothers, INC., now known as Brinkman Lighting. Tim was a past board member and past president of the Downtown Sertoma Club. He was also the Sertoma Club Man of the Year in 2008. Tim was the Worshipful Master twice of the York-Swope Park Masonic Lodge. Tim was a member of the York Rite Bodies, Ararat Shrine and a past president of its Harem Unit. Presently, he served as Director of the Ararat Shrine Sand Buggies Unit. Tim was a member of the order of Quetzalcoatl and a member of the Kachina Club. Tim was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters Court, 54. He was a member of the business Men's Association. Tim's passion was barbeque and he won many awards including the American Royal Barbeque Contest.

Mr. Duff was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Diana Duff; sister, Mary Meinecke; brothers, Charles Duff; Dennis Duff; and John Duff; and many nieces and a nephew.
