The
original Mini Model T's organization was formed in 1973
as a separate parade group representing the Liberty,
Excelsior Springs, Oriental and Rakla Shrine Clubs. The
District III Mini-Model T's became a uniformed Unit in
1976 and renamed themselves the Mini Model T's.
The
Mini Model T's feature Model T replicas, 1/5 the size
of a 1911 Model T Ford. The colors of all cars are black
to more closely represent the original model and the drivers
uniforms are red and black. The Mini Model T's are always
a children's favorite at parades. Members reside throughout
the entire metropolitan area of Kansas City.
Their
by-laws allow for a maximum of 20 active members and memberships
become available on a regular basis.
The
active participation of both our Nobles and their ladies
has resulted in a successful Mini Model T unit as it is
today.
The
Mini Model T's have received 1st or 2nd place awards at
CSSA competition drills every year since 1976. |
